About

In an effort to improve the quality of service that our staff provides to the community, the City Council has initiated a review of Glendale’s Planning & Neighborhood Services application review and regulation processes.  It is our goal to examine the review procedures to maximize efficiency, while preserving high standards, public input and discretionary reviews. To accomplish this, we have assembled a Planning Process Task Force (PPTF) consisting of community leaders who are familiar with current policies and procedures.

The PPTF's insight and knowledge will be vital to the development of a clearer and more efficient process. We will discuss a variety of proposed changes and topics ranging from design review to variances, zoning use certificates and more. The input from the Task Force will be forwarded to the Planning Commission and City Council when they consider the resulting Code changes.
